The fourfold path for healing ourselves and our world

‘We would like to share with you two simple truths: There is nothing that cannot be forgiven; and, there is no one undeserving of forgiveness.’

Each of us has a deep need to forgive, but it sometimes feels like an impossible task. In The Book of Forgiving, Desmond Tutu, and his daughter Mpho Tutu, offer to guide you on a path towards forgiveness, away from past pain.

Countless studies have shown the social, spiritual, psychological, and even physiological benefits of forgiveness. But the actual path to forgiveness has often remained a mystery. After much reflection, the Tutus have seen that there are four important aspects to this path: Telling the Story; Naming the Hurt; Granting Forgiveness; Renewing or Releasing the Relationship.

Desmond and Mpho Tutu invite you to join them on a healing journey – one that will transform your life. As you travel along the fourfold path, there will be meditations, exercises and rituals to guide and help you as you walk/ Although the process is simple, it is not an easy journey. But, in the end, it is the only path worth taking.
